Paula joined the team in May 2022 and has executive leadership responsibility for the financial health and contractual arrangements of the organisation.
She leads a small team overseeing strategic development, oversight, management and governance of the organisation’s financial resources and managing the contracts we hold.
Paula is a qualified accountant and has a MBA. She has extensive knowledge of health and care built up over nearly 40 years in a variety of roles in both commissioning and provider organisations including as a Chief Officer, Director of Finance, Director of Audit and Non-Executive Director.
Paula also has a good understanding of the voluntary and charitable sector from undertaking roles and voluntary work for Citizens Advice and Homestart.
Paula enjoys her job as it enables her to keep abreast of exciting changes and challenges in primary and community care and allows her to practice her financial skills.
Paula enjoys spending the rest of her time with her expanding family, travelling and gardening.
