It’s World Health Day (7 April) and this year it falls in Stress Awareness Month.
They both remind us of the importance of mental and physical well-being in our personal and work lives.
In terms of how we support our colleagues – we’re proud to offer access to an Employee Assistance Programme which provides a 24 hour helpline and online resources on a number of subjects.
And over recent months we’ve organised learning sessions on team dynamics and preferred ways of working, followed more recently, by a session on wellbeing where we discussed the impact of stress and explored ways to manage it more effectively.
Some tips we’d like to share to manage our wellbeing, include:
- Taking breaks: Regular breaks can help clear the mind and reduce stress
- Staying active: Physical activity can boost your mood and energy levels
- Connecting with others: Sharing your feelings with friends, family or colleagues can provide support and relief.
