Brocklebank Health Centre has opened in new purpose-built premises on Garratt Lane, bringing together a range of health services in one modern building.
The Health centre is one of the 38 GP practices across Wandsworth, who as shareholders, in the Federation, collectively own and guide our work.
The new three-storey health centre opened on 27 April 2026 and is located within 50 metres of the original site. It has been developed as part of the wider Atheldene regeneration programme, with NHS South West London, NHS Property Services, Brocklebank Group Practice and Wandsworth Council working together to support the healthcare needs of existing and new communities in the area.
The centre provides modern facilities for Brocklebank Group Practice, which continues to care for its registered patients. It also brings together community dental services provided by King’s College Hospital, community health services provided by Central London Community Healthcare and podiatry services provided by Cora Health.
Patients remain registered with Brocklebank Group Practice and continue to be cared for by the same team of GPs, nurses and support staff.
Andrew Bland, Chief Executive of NHS South West London, said:
The opening of the new Brocklebank Health Centre is great news for patients and the local community.
“This modern, purpose-built building gives the practice and wider health teams the space and facilities they need to provide high-quality care now and in the years ahead.
“Brocklebank shows how the neighbourhood health model can work, with GP, community health, podiatry and specialist dental services brought together in one place. This supports the direction set out in the government’s 10 Year Health Plan to provide more joined-up care closer to where people live.
“I want to thank Wandsworth Council, NHS Property Services and all the local partners who have helped make this new centre possible.”
Dr Tom Coffey, Lead GP at Brocklebank Group Practice, and Board Advisor to Wandsworth GP Federation, said:
As a practice, we’ve been proud to care for this community for many years. The new health centre gives us a modern, purpose-built environment in which to continue providing care for our patients.
“Being based alongside other healthcare teams also makes it easier for local people to access a wider range of support in one place.”
