We’re proud to outline our Strategic Direction for 2026-30.
Our vision for the future of the organisation, combined with our ambitions will drive us forward in the years ahead and be the foundation for shaping the direction of our work.
By 2030, WGPF will have:
- Supported and enabled the 38 GP practices in Wandsworth (WGPF shareholders) to sustainably deliver high quality and accessible services for registered patients
- Operated at the heart of local collaborative working arrangements, supporting and enabling an increasing range of integrated care services within primary & community care settings. We will have directly participated in the leadership & further development of the Wandsworth Place Provider Alliance (and prospective Integrated Health Organisation) as the focal point for collaboration in the borough
- Implemented key priority areas of the NHS 10-year plan most relevant to primary & community care services e.g. Improving access, enabling a shift of care from hospital to community settings, developing neighbourhood health & care services, and enhancing proactive care initiatives
- Secured our medium to long term future and confirmed our role and status within the provider landscape for Wandsworth. In agreement with commissioners, we will have progressed from the existing MCP contract framework to hold the multi-neighbourhood provider contract for Wandsworth, working in close collaboration with the holders of single-neighbourhood provider contracts in the borough.
We will regularly review this strategic direction to ensure that it remains relevant and realistic in accordance with wider system priorities and challenges.
