We’re proud to be working with Age UK Wandsworth to deliver their Better At Home services for people aged 60 or over – and the feedback from those using the service shows the impact it’s having.
The service enables older people across Wandsworth to live independently in their homes for as long as they wish to, or are able to.
Amongst the services offered are a Hospital Discharge Support Service, which supports patients on who may need some support with task such as helping settle back into their normal routine, ensuring the home is safe and warm and obtaining any immediate shopping they may need.
A Voluntary Services Navigator, befriending, online shopping and handyman services are other measures that are offered for people who live in Wandsworth and are provided free to the client except where stated.
